Summary

QSWG is looking for a Product Owner to work on product development and ensure a good prioritization and communication of the product roadmap. The main mission as Product Owner is to translate ideas into valuable features and follow product development from start to finish. To succeed in this role, a background in software development and program management is preferred

Product Ownership

As defined in Scrum or SAFe, the PO’s core concern is to deliver the highest value by building the backlog that Scrum teams will pull from (Epics, Features, Stories)

Analyze feedback from multiples sources (customers, stakeholders, internal teams, etc) to shape requirements, features and end products

Define functional specifications that are clearly understood by the development teams

• Develop the roadmap in line with the overall product vision and customer priorities

Suggest ways to track KPI and mechanisms to improve these indicators Project Management

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant work experience

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience

Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role

• Experience in product lifecycle management

Experience and expertise for hardware, radio or electronics will be preferred

Familiarity with Agile framework (Scrum, SAFe or LeSS) and tools (Jira is a plus)

Organizational and leadership abilities - Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus)

Problem-solving aptitude

• Creative thinking skills

Experience with defining and validating minimum viable features
