2 Senior Lead Buyers (F/M) specialised in IT procurement – The positions will be based in Puteaux (92)

Ideally 5 years or more of experience in IT procurement in a multi-site & global environment

Under the supervision of the Group purchasing director the IT lead buyers will be mainly in charge to

• Define category strategies at global level in line with GEFCO strategy
• Lead implementation of global purchasing strategies through GEFCO group
• Foster the cooperation between Central and Local, and ensure adherence to global strategies
• Conduct needs analysis on his/her own perimeter
• Conduct supplier sourcing and market intelligence
• Act as prime interface of internal stakeholders as well as purchasing country to understand needs and communicate about deals negotiated
• Manage tendering process, supplier selection and contract negotiation for global panel in line with the costs and performance objectives
• Lead global deal implementation with the support of purchasing country
• Communicate regularly on ongoing and future global actions
• Support the definition and deployment of policies, procedures and best practices within the group
• Contribute to purchasing performance and monitor this performance through dedicated reports
• Support the development and deployment of group performance measurement, methods and tools
• Contribute actively to the policies/processes and tools evolution in line with the transformation of GEFCO
• Monitor at global level suppliers’ performance using appropriate metrics and tools and leading to improvement plan with the supplier
• Identify commercial risks, mitigate the company’s exposure to risk associated with suppliers by developing the appropriate actions
• Dissemination of culture and good purchasing practices within GEFCO

It should be noted that within the framework of their mission, other non IT related large-scale projects may be entrusted to the IT lead buyer.
