Financial Controller - Private Equity House

We are currently representing the European division of a global Alternative Asset Manager specialised in Private Equity, Debt and Real Estate investments. It works with a wide range investors from wealthy private individuals to pension funds, public and listed companies. It is one of the most successful company in its sector and to sustain its growth it wishes to hire a bright Financial Controlling professional.You will become part of a dynamic team supervising the day-to-day activities with respect to tax, accounting and legal matters for the portfolio of Luxembourg entities. You will be safeguarding the investment structures and ensuring the delivery of high quality financial information. Your Missions
• Overseeing external administrators’ (3rd party accountants…) as well as internal accountants
• Reviewing of reporting packages and implementing effective controls
• Supporting internal and external finance teams with material transactional activity
• Liaising with local group and global auditors to ensure that perfect execution of the audit process
• Liaise with external advisors, such as tax advisors, auditors and legal advisors on matters related to acquisition and disposal events
• Be part of structuring process of new Investments
• Review the current tax setup of Luxembourg based investments
• Monitor the investment structures for compliance with legal and tax regulations

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of qualifying professional experience in Accounting or Audit
• Experience with Private Equity structures is required
• Autonomous, Team worker, Committed and Responsible
• Accounting qualification is a strong plus
• Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent
• Good IT Skills (Microsoft Office package, practical exposure to an accounting software would be a plus)
• Fluency in English is mandatory and any other languages are considered as a plus
