Senior Solutions Architect - Hybrid Cloud

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join us in France. In this role, you will be the catalyst creating possibilities, solving problems, and establishing working relationships with customers. You’ll help our customers invest wisely in an infrastructure that will give them maximum flexibility in the future, allowing them to run faster and more efficiently. You will use your business insight to present executive lT leadership with compelling business and technical cases for Red Hat’s solutions.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with the broader Sales team and technical delivery teams to bring our customers the best solutions using hybrid cloud technologies. You will design technical solutions around the use cases in your domain, using a variety of Red Hat’s and partner offerings. You’ll need to understand the customer use case needs and have the tools to show solutions to those needs using reference architectures, demonstrations, workshops, and deep dives. This is a remote or office based position based in France, with frequent travels to customer sites.

What you will do

• Design solutions for customers moving to a cloud development process, focusing on the DevSecOps methodology and infrastructure layers
• Build out customer-driven technical solutions using a combination of Red Hat’s offerings in their area of specialization and partner products based on requirements from the customers use case needs and the information gathered by the account solutions architects and sales solutions professionals
• Continue the technical conversation with the customer, going further in-depth on how specific use case needs can be addressed by multiple products working together
• Demonstrate use case-based solutions in depth, provide workshops, and discuss specifics around the proposed solution
• Identify and mitigate any technical conflicts within the account base and help the sales team get the technical win
• Provide help with the customer hybrid cloud journey in supporting the sales cycles during that journey
• Provide input to the technical account plan as part of your engagement

What you will bring

• Understanding of the journey to the cloud and the technologies and processes involved
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem, including competing technologies
• Best practices for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform implementation
• Knowledge of additional Red Hat’s offerings related to the specialist solutions architecture type like Advanced Communications Services (ACS), Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), Open Decision Framework (ODF), Runtimes, integration, business automation, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL),etc
• Knowledge of major cloud service providers
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, tools, and best practices and application development concepts
• Consultative selling excellence
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; ability to present and have technical and business discussions with C-level executives
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines
