Corporate Social Responsibility Position type : Salaried Specific accountabilities Stewardship investing plays a pivotal role in our strategic plan. The CSR team is in charge of leading our strategies in this regard, working closely with our internal teams and partners. As Ivanhoé Cambridge?s operations continue to grow and its ambitions to have a positive impact on the real estate industry expand, you will strengthen and advance the Company?s CSR practices and skills, particularly in Europe and Asia. In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility. Your day-to-day activities will include the following: ? Integrate ESG factors more systematically into the investment process (acquisition, asset management, development) in collaboration with our internal teams and external partners; ? Support the stewardship investing strategy and develop and implement an action plan; ? Advise the executive committee on strategic issues related to ESG factors ? Carry out analyses, monitor trends and issue recommendations specific to ESG-related themes or particular regions or countries, and promote ESG practices throughout the organization; ? Lead an internal community of stakeholders playing an active role in stewardship investing; ? Help build internal stakeholders? knowledge and skills with regard to stewardship investing and ESG (training, awareness, tools, etc.); ? Contribute to monitoring the ESG performance of the Ivanhoé Cambridge portfolio; ? Represent Ivanhoé Cambridge and participate in sector-specific working groups. Key requirements ? Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience; ? In-depth understanding of, and keen interest in, the ESG regulatory framework as it applies to the real estate industry; ? Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; ? Ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions aligning CSR goals with IC?s business objectives; ? Capacity to lead inter-team projects and work effectively with internal and external partners; strong powers of persuasion; ? Solid communication skills in French and English.
